Bryce’s Story—

Our story starts out with many tears and a lot of frustrations of not knowing why our six year old son was not able to do the so called normal things that other six year olds his age were doing.  He was reading words backwards and writing numbers backwards, not able to color in the lines, spilling things on a daily basis, short attention span and the list goes on and on.

His first grade teacher said his is not even able to read simple books…that an average first grader should be able to do.  My answer to her was “Well maybe he is not able to see properly and I should have him get an eye exam.”  The same day after the conference I saw Dr. Johnson’s television ad.   After I saw the television ad I then know she was the answer to our prayers.  I felt that after her eye exam and testing, she had to be able to help us because up until this point no one else had.

I’m so happy to report that after forty plus vision therapy sessions and countless hours of home work we have a brilliant seven year old boy.  I knew all along that he wasn’t dumb and that he was just as normal as any other little boy, he just needed a little help along the way.  We cannot thank all of the staff at Superior Eye Center and Dr. Johnson enough.

To those who say they can’t afford to do the therapy…I say you can’t afford not to.
